About Sky Diving

One of the most popular stag weekend activities and one that is guaranteed to get your adrenaline pumping! Jumping out of an airplane is everyone's idea of the ultimate rush (we can hardly think of anything more action hero worthy) and what a rush it is! Close your eyes and just imagine it: you're miles in the air, in a plane, you’re al geared up (admittedly there’s also a dude attached to you but just ignore him) you jump out; you’re falling through the air, hurtling to the ground at over one hundred miles per hour… Doesn’t sound like fun but it is!

What to expect

Before you take to the air there will be an important safety demonstration at the venue base camp. So make sure you listen to this as it’s incredibly important. The gear will be explained to you and the steps involved for the activity. It'll be your  actual instructor who will control the free fall element of your skydive. They’ll open the parachute for you approximately at the 5,000 feet mark, then steer your parachute safely back to the landing area. Truly a once in a lifetime experience so why not elect to have a free fall cameraman jump with you to video or photograph your jump.*

Stag Company Top Tips

Wear comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes. It can be a bit cloud up in the clouds so we don’t recommend a vest or anything like that. We recommend wearing comfy jeans and a t-shirt. Bring cash in case you want to buy a souvenir from the dive.
