Now, when we generally talk about getting wet and wild on a stag do, it can mean something completely different. But here we’re talking about taking to the water for some fun. When one of your stag party inevitably falls into the water try not to laugh too much, as before you know it you’ll be the one trying to ride the board – and as easy it looks from the comfort of dry land, it’s a lot harder in reality! But don’t worry too much, there’ll always be expert instruction on hand to keep you safe and have you riding the waves like a pro in no time.
Whether you’re a master of the waves, or find yourself becoming friendly with the fishes after repeated visits beneath the water – Paddle boarding provides an adrenaline pumping activity for you and the lads. And although it might not be the best activity to take on with a hangover(trust us on that one), it’s the perfect activity for a beer afterwards. Once you’ve dried off you can regale one another with your stories and have a laugh at all the times the stag fell in.
Does the groom love getting in the water? This is a great relaxing activity that everyone in the group can enjoy. It doesn't matter if everyone is a beginner or varying skill levels, as the instructor will walk you all through the paddleboarding process.
As you can imagine, all equipment is provided, including the board and the paddle, but make sure everyone in the group packs some swimming shorts, you don't want Dave stripping down to his skimpy boxers in front of everyone, that's a sight nobody needs to see.
You'll get 1.5 hours to learn and paddle along, while if you don't feel comfortable standing up then you can sit on the board. It's a great activity to practice balance and is a surprisingly decent workout. You will also be picked up from your Amsterdam stag accommodation, which you can book with us, as well as being dropped back off in-town, which can be back to your accommodation, unless there is a better location in town, such as your next activity (just let our team know in advance).
