Water Park Entrance (Aqualandia)
A stag party is lots of things, it’s a way to send off your stag into married life, it’s a great chance for a legendary booze-up with your mates. And it’s also a fantastic excuse to get in touch with your inner-child! You’re on your stag so ‘acting your age’ is out the window so you may as well act like a big kid and head to the water park! Every water park is different but generally you’ll be able to take to a range of high-speed slides to get the adrenaline pumping – trust us, things get competitive as you race against the lads to see who can get the most speed. Although if you’re still feeling the previous night, you might be more in favour of slowly floating around in a rubber ring. Some of the waterparks even have an on-site bar for you to swim over to and enjoy a drink while you admire the bikini babes and soak up some sun.
Cool off from that Spanish sun and get a break from the boisterous Benidorm stag partying with a visit to the water park extravaganza of Aqualandia. How best to describe this massive splash playground? Well picture the kind of water park you went to as a 7-year-old at a birthday party you didn’t really want to be at. This is the opposite. This is the largest and most spectacular water park in Europe, and the dream location of every grown up kid around.
Aqualandia is packed with splashtastic attractions, each one of which is bigger and better than the one before. You and the lads will be daring one another to tackle increasingly larger and more terrifying slides. If you’re an adrenaline junkie then you’re sure to get your thrills! Feel the rush as you whiz down the high-speed Kamikaze and when you’re ready to throw yourself into the unknown head up to the infamous Black Hole – a nearly-200 metre thrilling slide that sends you into total darkness! The new highlight has to be the incredible Vertigo. Built into the hillside it actually offers you amazing views over the local area, not that you’ll be able to appreciate the landscape because you’ll be whizzing along at speeds approaching 100km/ph!
And for a change of pace there are plenty of natural pools, wave machines and relaxing areas which might be much more your pace if you happen to have had upwards of ten pints the night before and all you want to do is lie down and cry. The other benefit of these relaxing areas? They give you much more time to appreciate all the local stunners.
