Across your tasting you’ll be introduced to whisky, how it’s made, qualities to look for – and most importantly – how to taste it properly, something that you’ll get the chance to do again, and again… and again as you sample a range of whiskies. Even if you aren’t usually a huge fan of this delicious brown nectar, across your session you’ll learn to properly appreciate whisky. Along the way you’ll also pick up lots of tips and hints, so that when your stag is over, you still have plenty of knowledge to make you look sophisticated.

This thorough Jameson experience will go through the history of Ireland’s most famous whiskey and you’ll get to see, hear and – most importantly – taste your way through the Jameson story. You and your mates will get to experience one of Dublin’s most popular visitor attractions as part of your Dublin stag party – it’s fantastic for getting you and the lads involved! You’ll learn about the creation of Jameson and the story of its founder John Jameson. It’s a glimpse into its living history as you tour the stunning Old Jameson Distillery. As your tour comes to an end its time to put theory into practice with a tasting. You’ll compare the distinct but delicious flavours of Scotch, American and Jameson’s Irish Whisky. And with your taste-buds tantalised you’ll be perfectly placed to head into the Dublin city centre with a new found appreciation of your new favourite drink!

What's Included:
Included in this event is a guided tour of the famous distillery, plus a signature Jameson drink. You and your group will come face to face with original kilns and pot stills from that time, and will have the opportunity to explore warehouses that have matured whiskey for more than two centuries.
