It's a Knockout
Feeling like doing something crazy on your stag do? Chances are the answer’s yes. It’s a Knockout provides a totally different type of madness from the usual stag antics, but you’ll be laughing from start to finish in an activity that’s full of mad moments and nostalgia. Running right through the 60’s, 70’s & 80’s (and with a brief return around 2000) – It’s a Knockout was an absolute feature of tea-time TV viewing, and now it can be part of your stag do. If you haven’t seen it, it’s a mess of massive inflatable costumes, water and foam, obstacle courses and a LOT of falling over. For example one game involved trying to carry a bucket of water across a rolling log, while the opposition throw things to distract or knock over the competitor.
You’ll have to bring an old set of clothes and trainers, because even after you’ve climbed inside a huge inflatable costume things are still likely to get messy. You’ll also have to remember to bring your A game, the end of your day will see results announced, and as we’re sure you’re a competitive bunch of lads an extra incentive can be a prize of the winner, or forfeit for the losers.
It’s like a grown-up version of school sports day, and as it’s a grown up version you can head to the pub afterwards to keep the energy going into the evening.
Are you after an activity which is full of fun for your stag weekend away in Edinburgh? If so, it’s a Knockout is the activity for you. There is a whole multitude of mini-games that you will be taking part in throughout the day.
Some of the experiences that you can expect to try within your It's a Knockout experience are the chicken run. This is where you race through an inflatable course collecting chicken pieces! Another is the penguin pursuit; this is where you will be dressed as a penguin, racing to the end trying to be quicker than the other groups. All the games are team based which forms a great, fun, competitive event!
The Details
What's Included:
An assortment of fun games such as the examples below. These games are subject change as Battlezone are always looking to improve / add new challenges to this event.
10 Maids A Milking - A relay race over/under the inflatable to the cow which must be milked to fill the bucket. First team to fill the bucket with water wins!
Caterpillar tracks - A race to the end of the track and and back, each team must staying in their own lane with all contestants inside the caterpillar track.
Penguin Pursiuts - Race to the cone dressed in a penguin suit, throw your hula hoop over the penguin and then return to your team and swap the suit with a team mate for their turn.
Chicken Run - race through the inflatable, collecting pieces of chicken. Take what you find under the cargo net to the bucket at the end. Team with the most pieces of chicken wins
Rapid Run - the objective is to transfer as much water as possible from one end to the other on the raft pulled at both ends by your team.
Ski Funday - All the contestants must stand on the team ski together and race their skis up and then and back down their own lane.
Water Works - With a big bucket of water at one end and an empty bucket at the other, the team must stand in hoops and transfer as much water as possible using only sponges!
Fast Food Frenzy - Each team has 10 items of food to collect amongst all the foam, and throw to the nominated 'chef', the winning team is the first to collect all 10 pieces.
