As a general rule, most groups planning a Snowdonia stag weekend prefer to stay in the coastal city of Bangor, which is just outside the national park and around a 30-45 minute drive from most activities. Bangor is a student city, with a decent amount of nightlife (we'll ensure your hotel is not more than a short walk from the city centre) and a good choice of stag do accommodationIf you would prefer to stay out in the countryside though that is perfectly understandable. Get in touch with our friendly stag do planners, and we'll be happy to discuss your requirements.
We can certainly help with Snowdonia stag hotels with car parking. Often this will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis, and there may be a small supplement payable. Alternatively, the city has a few secure 24-hour car parks that are reasonably priced. When travelling around Snowdonia National Park we would advise car sharing as much as possible, as there are limited car parks around, and they tend to be both busy and expensive.
If you'd like a hot or cold breakfast included each morning, just let us know when making your enquiry so we can make sure it's priced into your quote.
If you're staying out in the countryside, there will usually be a decent pub within a short walk, or a short drive. In Bangor, however, there is an excellent range of stag-friendly pubs, bars, restaurants and a few clubs too. That's why many stag groups prefer to be based in Bangor, and to drive into the national park during the day for their activities.
Most of our Snowdonia stag groups stay in Bangor which is just outside the national park. So you will be around a 30-45 minute drive from most activities in the area, be it underground trampolining at Bounce Below, thrilling ziplining at Zip World, white water rafting or climbing Snowdon. You will probably find that the most efficient and cost-effective way to get around is for one or two in the group to drive.
