A chat to The Apprentice winner Ricky Martin

Today I had a really enjoyable chat to one of our VIP customers about a stag do he recently booked with us. Ricky Martin, the 2012 The Apprentice winner and owner of Hyper Recruitment Solutions, has recently booked his friend’s stag do with us. “This is one of the many duties a best man must fulfill” said Ricky, organizing the last “single weekend” out with the boys. That’s right; Ricky has been chosen to be the best man. A humble and friendly business man, Ricky filled me in on all the details about the stag party and his experience with us, The Stag Company.  

Ricky, what does it feel like to be chosen as a best man? It’s such a privilege. Being asked to be such an important part of somebody’s special day, it’s a nice feeling. We have been friends since we were toddlers, so for a very long time. We know each other very well and he was also part of my wedding. How did you find out about The Stag Company? I did a Google search about stag do locations. I came across The Stag Company website and decided to have a look. I really liked the website; it was informative and easy to use. I also had a look at your social media pages and I found some really good reviews about people’s experience with The Stag Company. It’s also is really cost effective. Why did you decide to book with us? The team was friendly and made it really easy for me. To be honest, I am a really busy man. I run a business, I just bought a house, and I have very little time on my hands. Working with the Stag Company made it a smooth, easy process for me and took the pressure off organizing things on my own. I found it really quick and everything has been arranged for us already: pick up from the airport, accommodation, activities. It’s great. Tell me a little bit about the plans you have for the stag party… It’s all a big surprise for the groom to be. But it will be in Bratislava and it’s about 6 weeks away. We have lots of fun & some embarrassing activities planned; however we don’t want to make it a “typical drunken English” party. It will be fun, but we will keep it classy. I want him to enjoy himself a lot; it’s a special time for him. So as a best man, will you have to do a speech? Of course, but I am not sure yet about how it will go, because I am not a very funny person. However I have had a lot of experience with public speaking post The Apprentice so that does not worry me, just trying to be funny does :) But I am very close with both the groom and his fiancee, so I am sure I will come up with something nice for them.
