One raucous stag night might be enough for some, but one celebrity husband opted to arrange a second gathering before renewing his vows last week.
American football star Tom Brady celebrated his union with supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen for a second time at a ceremony in Costa Rica on Saturday.
But before tying the knot again, the couple stuck to tradition by holding hen and stag dos attended by close friends and family.
The celebrations were apparently less raucous than might be expected at the average stag night, however, with both bride and groom organising stag and hen brunches, according to the People magazine.
They were then joined by guests for a lavish sunset ceremony at Ms Bundchen's home, which comes just two months after the couple tied the knot in private first time around.
One celebrity star who won't be holding back on her wedding plans first time around is former S Club 7 singer Rachel Stevens, who plans to wed fiance Alex Bourne this summer.
Ms Stevens told the Mirror she will be "going all out" to celebrate her big day, with plans afoot for a princess-style wedding.
