The daily update on Russell Brand's forthcoming stag do is that the comedian is expecting a Robin Hood-style party with his Merry Men.
We do not believe that he is having his
stag do in Nottingham though, but it certainly sounds as if Brand's last night of freedom is going to be a unique occasion.
He had previously spoken of having a stag day involving all-action activities with raft building and mountain climbing forming part of the fun, as he didn't want to have the usual sort of
stag party involving life's naughtyness.
Brand explained: "I'll do adventurous things and activities. My friend who is my best man says we're going to go white-water rafting and shoot arrows.
"We'll be like merry men. Perhaps we'll become outlaws, bandits for a while."
Brand is to marry US pop singer Katy Perry later this year. With regard to his best man Nick's wedding speech, he added: "Nick has stopped me from doing some seriously stupid things in my life, which could have made it a lot worse. I trust him completely. There isn't much more he can say that people don't know about. I took drugs and I slept with prostitutes."
