As the capital city of Wales, it's no wonder why Cardiff attracts so many stag groups, and not just from inside Wales either. News of the good times to be had have filtered into England and got our fun-hungry stags eager for a bit of action also. Cardiff is a city of culture, sport, media and students making it a lively city to spend a weekend in. If you're coming to Cardiff for your stag weekend be prepared to need some energy.
How to get there:
If your stag group are arriving by car, the main motorway into Cardiff from England is the M4 which connects it to Bristol, Swindon, London and Reading. To get to Cardiff by train on your stag weekend you'll be heading for Cardiff Central Railway Station which has connections to Bristol, Birmingham, London, Manchester, Nottingham stag weekends, Southampton and many more major cities in the UK. You could also fly to Cardiff with domestic flights into Cardiff Airport and it's only 10 miles out of the city.
What to do during the day?
Cardiff is a fantastic looking city by day with lots of sights to see. It's an historic city with many castles such as the famous Castell Coch (snigger) or "Red Castle" in English... As well as some rocking castles, you've also got the Millennium Stadium there in case you're planning to couple your stag weekend with a concert or sporting event. There are some pretty good shops in the centre near Queen St. and St. Mary's St, or you could spend your time doing something less relaxed and lame than shopping and looking at castles – you could let us organise a cracking day time activity for you. Choose from our paintball or karting party packages, go golfing in the Welsh countryside, take in a sea charter and much more. We offer a range of activities to suit all kinds of stags in Cardiff so feel free to give us a call and pick something out for you and the guys!
What to do by night
If you're starting your evening off with some pubs then head to St. Mary's Street, not too far from the Central Railway Station. You'll find a good stretch of pubs along here like O'Neills, the Prince of Wales and the Yard Bar and Kitchen. For nightclubs, you can stay on the same stretch and find club chains like Flares as well as other swinging hotspots like CYNT and Liquid. Cardiff also has an Oceana super club on Greyfriars Road if you're looking for somewhere big to strut your stag stuff. If you pick one of our one night clubbing package, we also arrange for you to get free entry into a casino and pre-paid entry into a lap dancing club so your stag night in Cardiff should be jam packed with fun and frolics for you and the guys!
