Chaps heading off to the Scottish capital Edinburgh for their much-anticipated stag do over the coming weeks could also take in a little bit of the culture the city is so famous for.
Adding an interesting twist to any stag weekend, the Edinburgh Art Festival, which runs until September 5th, is set to feature the masterpieces of international artists, as well as numerous events and exhibitions.
Some of the cultural gems those on a stag do could take in include Milestone, an event running until August 31st which sees ten internationally renowned sculptors carve a large-scale work into the College of Art's quadrangle.
A celebration of grandmothers is also being hosted by the Embassy Gallery, while the Lighthouse will feature artists' unique takes on the Edinburgh waterfront.
Additionally, the Ingleby Gallery will provide a platform for the works of promising abstract painter Callum Innes, which could provide a relaxing start to a stag weekend.
Meanwhile, men who like their music vintage and retro could book the Rolling Stones for their wedding reception. That is if they have a spare £5 million to hand, according to research conducted by TV Channel Living.
