Enjoy a 'stag do with a swing' in Blackpool

Stag parties looking to enjoy a weekend away without breaking the bank are sure to find all the right ingredients for a raucous night out in Blackpool, according to one journalist.

Writing for Get Wokingham, Phil Creighton said the seaside resort offers something for everyone, with plenty of places to party for stag night revellers.

Despite the town's "tacky" reputation, the range of attractions on offer means visitors are never likely to be short of something to do.

And while the Pleasure Beach, Sea Life Centre and various quirky exhibitions could prove perfect daytime entertainment, Blackpool's nightlife is certain to be the high point.

"[The town] is awash with pubs and nightclubs that offer drink deals galore, while souvenir shops are stocked up with everything you'd need to ensure the stag do goes with a swing," Mr Creighton wrote.

Meanwhile, with Blackpool expecting a bumper summer this year as more UK tourists look to holiday closer to home, the resort has recently seen the addition of a brand-new beach.

Officials at ReBlackpool claimed the 180-metre stretch of sand, which will stay open 24 hours a day, will be ideal for enjoying sports and lounging by the sea.
