Our Favourite Birmingham Stag Weekend Ideas

Set in the heart of the Midlands (if there is such a thing) is the big old city of Birmingham. Once a pioneer of the industrial revolution, now the pioneer of piss ups, which we think is far more useful. Birmingham has earned every bit of its reputation as a great location for a stag weekend. It's got top notch activity centres, and then a first rate night life that will keep you partying until the early hours of the morning if you can handle it. You might be spoilt for choice as to how to spend your stag weekend in Birmingham so we've made it easy and picked our favourite activities.

Clay Pigeon Shooting

A simple activity which is popular for the very reason that it involves guns and even better, shooting stuff. If you've never experienced the kick of a 12 bore against your shoulder then, my friend you simply haven't lived. Get the guys together and partake in this gentleman's sport of shooting clay targets and blasting them to smithereens. It's very addictive and competitive, and remember to hold that gun firm and lean in a little as you shoot. No one wants to fall like a big girl at their first attempt shooting a shotgun.

Go-Karting

We searched high and low to find you the perfect outdoor karting venue in Birmingham. This location is well versed in hosting stag parties so you will be well looked after when you arrive. Get kitted out and then it's all about burning rubber as you put your foot down pretending you're Lewis Hamilton racing to win first place where Nicole whatserface from the Pussy-cats is waving the chequered flag. Don't tell me that's only our fantasy?

5-a-side Football

Perfect for getting the blood pumping, this fast paced version of football is ideal for stag weekends. Smaller goals and pitches and team sizes mean you're less likely to be hung around the wings waiting for something to happen, action abounds when it comes to five-a-side and nothing unites a group of guys like a bit of footy. Watch as those competitive streaks come out, just make sure you're not throwing your boots at each others' heads by the end of it.

Comedy Night

Birmingham plays host to an excellent comedy venue which we can highly recommend for a night of entertainment on your stag weekend. There's nothing like a few pints with the guys and watching some first class comedy for a memorable night. If you want a change from a pub crawl but still want to enjoy the beers then this is the perfect alternative.

Golf

Ahh, the classic golf experience. Get away from the daily grind on a fairway with your mates. Stack up your stories because you'll have plenty of time to joke and bullsh*t as you make your way around the 18 holes. Perfect for a relaxed stag day time activity, especially as Birmingham's nightlife will test anyone's stamina for going out!
