On the 15th of May, Richie Brittain should have been enjoying his
stag do in Barcelona, but after one of the great feats of giantkilling in Scottish football, he will instead be leading out his team in the Scottish Cup Final.
The minnows repeated their shocking win over Rangers with another astonishing performance to beat Celtic in the last four this weekend.
It is fair to say that Brittain had not considered this prospect when arranging to celebrate his forthcoming wedding with a stag party in Barcelona, however, he is happy to wait for his last weekend of freedom.
The Ross County star told MailSport: "I did have my stag do to go on but now I'll need to cancel it as we'll be back at Hampden.
"It was meant to be in Barcelona but I'll gladly sacrifice that for a Scottish Cup Final without doubt.
"My fiancee Diane might not be too happy although she did say she'd rather I got to the Final than go on my stag do.
"This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for myself and all the guys and we'll certainly be looking to go and enjoy the occasion - the stag do can wait."
