His stag night plans may remain a mystery, but one groom in New York City is certainly causing a stir with his adventurous wedding proposals.
Space fanatic Noah Fulmor plans to sweep fiancee Erin Finnegan off her feet in more ways than one when the couple tie the knot by exchanging their nuptials while floating in zero gravity.
The couple will be joined by close friends and family aboard a specially-adapted Boeing 727 that simulates the weightlessness experienced by astronauts in space - though guests will have to shell out more than £3,000 for the privilege.
And while his first choice wedding venue in space may have proved too pricey, Mr Fulmor is certain the ceremony will be one to remember.
"Since this is the one time in our lives that we were going to do this [get married], we thought we should make it a once-in-a-lifetime event," he commented.
Mr Fulmor's wedding plans may be unique, but he is not the only groom to treat his bride to an out-of-this-world experience.
Last month, Duncan Thomas tied the knot with bride Sammi Gardner in a Star Wars-inspired ceremony in which guests dressed as characters from the cult sci-fi films.
