For many stag night revellers, the offer of lively nightlife and cut-price pints might be reason enough to venture to eastern Europe - but the region offers plenty of other attractions, it has been claimed.
According to Travelbite.co.uk, cities such as
Riga stag weekends, Tallinn,
Bratislava stag weekends, Budapest and Krakow are all ideal destinations for lads out to celebrate their impending nuptials.
While they may already be seen as traditional stag night locations, the website claimed they are somewhat "underexploited" - with plenty to do in the day, as well as at night.
It stated that all four cities are home to great golf courses, meaning stag parties can enjoy a relaxing day out on the links before heading off to survey the local bars.
Meanwhile, activities such as hunting, shooting and karting can also be arranged, making eastern Europe the place to go for that "once in a lifetime" stag weekend.
Revellers looking to get away on a budget might opt to visit Bulgaria over other nearby destinations, after a Eurostat survey identified the country as the second least expensive place to holiday in Europe.
