Footballer Michael Higdon is looking to kick start his stag do celebrations by firing his side to victory in the Homecoming Scottish Cup this weekend.
The Falkirk striker will tie the knot with fiancee Lindsay after Saturday's cup final clash against Old Firm giants Rangers - and he hopes to have double cause to celebrate come the final whistle.
Higdon told the Press Association that victory over the Scottish league champions would provide the perfect start to married life.
"I have 18 of my family and friends coming up for the final and I can't wait for it," he said.
"This weekend is sort of my stag weekend and I will make the most of it."
The former Crewe player will be hoping to record a similar success story to that of Gillingham defender Barry Fuller, who is also preparing to tie the knot this summer.
Fuller captained his side to victory in the League Two Playoff Final at Wembley last weekend and is sure to be in high spirits as he prepares to jet off for his stag night in Magaluf next month.
