Ibiza open all-year-round

Brits considering heading to Ibiza for a stag party may be interested to hear that the island's tourist body is promoting its winter season.

The big clubs may have closed after the excesses of summer, but the destination still has a lot to offer, according to the Ibiza Tourist Board.

It has just launched its Winter in Ibiza campaign, which urges Brits to sample the mild, dry climate, with temperatures reaching as high as 22 degrees C in December.

Among the activities on offer include horse riding, sailing, diving and cycling, as well as adventure hikes and a hippy market - for those who fancy having a different kind of stag weekend.

Ryanair has launched a new route to the island that runs all winter and Brits may find the two-hour flight is their fastest way of seeing the sun on a stag weekend.

Those who would rather stay in the UK could head to Glasgow, where paintball, climbing, snowboarding, skiing and other activities are all on offer.
