Lineker plans to celebrate stag do on the golf course

The traditional British stag do may be a raucous affair, but former football star Gary Lineker is planning to mark his final night of freedom with a mild celebration, it would seem.

According to the Daily Mirror, the Match of the Day presenter has prepped pals with a list of stag dos and don'ts ahead of his wedding to model Danielle Bux this summer.

Far from planning a lavish affair synonymous with most footballers' lifestyles, Lineker has reportedly banned the appearance of strippers during the weekend in favour of a relaxing stint on the golf course.

A source close to the former Everton and Tottenham star told the Mirror: "He's told all the guys that under no circumstances are they to organise strippers at his stag do.

"It's a bit of a disappointment to some of the lads but they are going along with it," he added.

Lineker will become the latest of a number of high-profile stars to wed this summer when he and Bux get married at the Italian resort of Portofino.

Modern-day pros Joe Cole, Wes Brown and Fernando Torres have all tied the knot in recent weeks.
