His stag night plans may not yet be clear, but former England football star Gary Lineker will spare no expense as he prepares to the tie knot, sources have revealed.
According to media reports, the Match of the Day presenter has booked all 48 rooms at the Hotel Caruso in Italy to ensure he and fiancee Danielle Bux get exclusive use of the venue.
The plans will set Lineker back £110,000, with the overall cost of the couple's big day likely to total some £250,000, the Daily Mirror reported.
However, the tabloid revealed the pair are keen to avoid throwing a WAG-style event.
A source said: "He doesn't want it to be as over-the-top as some footballers' weddings and they have only invited family and close friends."
Lineker will become the latest in a string of soccer stars to tie the knot over the summer when he walks down the aisle with model Bux.
Chelsea midfielder Joe Cole and Manchester United defenders Rio Ferdinand and Wes Brown are among those to have wed their respective partners over the past few months.
