Budget airline easyJet has confirmed that it is launching 14 new routes to a number of European destinations.
The service includes flights to traditional holiday hotspots including Corfu, Bordeaux, Athens and Ibiza.
However, flights to eastern European destinations such as the Croatian city of Dubrovnik are also being launched.
These additional services, which form part of easyJet's summer schedule, are expected to be welcomed by consumers.
Andy Harrison, chief executive of the airline, commented: "We start the new year with 14 new routes which will be popular with sun seekers, city breakers and business travellers alike."
Many of the services depart from regional UK airports such as Liverpool and Bristol, further improving the accessibility of mainland Europe from all over the country.
The airline recently announced that it saw a 7.3 per cent year-on-year increase in passenger numbers last month, further illustrating the growing demand for budget flights.
