Madrid and the rest of Spain is on the brink of the biggest party the country has seen in a generation as their football team stand one game away from World Cup glory.
Many Brits, for whom World Cup disappointment is now just a memory, will be in the country on holiday or for a Madrid stag weekend and will undoubtedly want to embrace the mood and adopt Spain as their country for the big match.
It is not customary in Spain to watch the game on big screens in large number with friends and family watching the match at home or in local bars the more popular option. However, the Plaza Mayor in Madrid will have a big screen showing the game on Sunday night and this will be the place to be if Spain wins as thousands of fans will flock here and party into the early hours of the morning and beyond.
If you are on a stag weekend in Barcelona you may find the coverage a little restrained as the national team is not supported with as much passion by the Catalan public, although the quantity of Barcelona players in the team will certainly have an impact.
