It may seem more fitting for a stag weekend than a honeymoon, but one newlywed couple plan to spend their post-nuptial celebrations sampling Ibiza's top clubs.
Ray Walkett and Anita Pulling admit their wedding plans could hardly have been more unconventional, after the pair ditched the traditional church venue in favour of getting hitched at the ground of their favourite football team, the Crawley News reports.
Quite what went on during Mr Walkett's stag night remains a mystery, but having tied the knot at Crystal Palace's Selhurst Park, the 46-year-old then tucked into a wedding meal of bacon sandwiches with his new wife.
And far from spending their first few weeks of married life stretched out on a beach, the couple now plan to prolong the party by hitting the famous clubs of Ibiza.
"We always wanted to [go there] when we were younger and had no one to do it with, so now we are doing it together," Ms Pulling said.
Clubs across Ibiza have already sparked into life, with many playing host to top DJs last weekend as part of the island's opening weekend which signals the start of the clubbing season.
