Stag night revellers intent on enjoying a big night out in Newquay this summer might look to book their trip sooner rather than later.
The coastal resort - famous for its beaches and lively nightlife - seems set to become a real hotspot for British holidaymakers this year, with interest in the destination surging.
Following on from research by hotel booking site Hotels.com which revealed that searches for Newquay are up 160 per cent compared to 2008, the town's official Visit Newquay website has also reported a 34 per cent increase in visitor numbers.
The site could prove a valuable resource for those planning a stag night in the area, with advice on all the best places to stay and a rundown of the most popular pubs and clubs.
While the nightlife in Newquay is good enough to rival that of most major UK cities, the resort is also renowned as the surf capital of Britain.
Indeed, the Metro recently listed the town as a great place for surfers to holiday this summer, with Fistral Beach in particular providing some of the best waves in Britain.
