People planning an a stag do overseas this year can still bag themselves a bargain when it comes to accommodation, despite the strength of the euro against the pound, it has been claimed.
Nigel Pocklington, managing director at Hotels.com in Europe, Middle East and Africa, said travellers can still enjoy a stay in "all sorts of interesting places" without breaking the bank.
He highlighted traditional stag night hotspots Dublin and Prague as just two of the many European cities that offer far cheaper room prices than those available in the UK's major cities.
Mr Pocklington added: "In terms of destinations, I always think Prague and Berlin are surprisingly good value and are really fascinating places to go."
The Czech capital has long been a favourite with stag parties and its popularity is likely to continue if the latest research by Abta - The Travel Association is anything to go by.
A study by the organisation revealed that cities across eastern Europe offer consistently low prices due to the "alluringly favourable exchange rates", with a pint of beer widely available for less than a pound.
