Brits planning a stag party - whether it is in
Dublin stag party, Edinburgh or
Amsterdam stag party - should do their research, it has been claimed.
According to TripAdvisor, putting some effort into finding out about the destination could be the difference between a dream weekend and a living nightmare.
Commenting on the recent Foreign and Commonwealth Office British Behaviour Abroad report, a spokesperson suggested people consider the consequences of their actions.
"Researching the local customs and laws is an integral part of the trip-planning process," explained Amelie Hurst.
"Our forums are bursting with travellers sharing first-hand tips."
Meanwhile, ABTA added its support to the government's Know Before You Go campaign, pointing out Brits made 70 million visits abroad last year, with the vast majority enjoying a good time.

It is the opening of the cultural season and features 2,000 performers across 30 venues.
