The majority of stag nights will centre on booze, so the unveiling of Edinburgh's biggest Scotch Whisky attraction may prove popular with revellers.
Currently celebrating its 21st birthday, the Scotch Whisky Experience has been transformed as part of a £3m facelift, with a number of new hi-tech features designed to entice visitors.
With expert commentary on the world's largest collection of Scotch whiskies, as well as a new barrel ride through the production process, the tour is sure to prove a hit with stag parties.
Indeed, visitors can even make the most of personalised whisky tastings, while scratch-and-sniff aroma cards and new sensory rooms are designed to bring the experience to life.
General manager of the attraction Susan Morrison said: "With everything from the sights, sounds and smells in the fantastic new barrel ride, to the stunning new sensory rooms and demonstration area, there is a modern, fresh feel to the whole visitor experience."
As well as its range of top-class restaurants and bars, Edinburgh has become renowned as a top city for celebration, with a series of film, food and drink festivals held throughout the year.
