'Sensational' Scandinavia draws partygoers

People planning a stag do in Scandinavia this summer will find no shortage of cool and trendy places to drink away the night, it seems.

According to VisitDenmark, the Oresund region - home to the cities of Malmo and Copenhagen - is full of "sensational surprises", with a chilled out mix of locals and tourists and a more-than-lively nightlife scene.

While Copenhagen is home to plenty of upmarket waterfront bars offering the chance to sample the local beer, Malmo also boasts a range of popular drinking dens.

Indeed, the cobbled party square right in the heart of Lilla Torg draws partygoers "like a magnet most evenings", with bars such as Moosehead and Mello Yello attracting all the "movers and groovers".

Furthermore, with Copenhagen and Malmo in such proximity, those planning a stag weekend in the region will have plenty of opportunity to sample the very best attractions of both cities, VisitDenmark states.

While a trip to Scandinavia may prove a little too pricey for those on a budget, stag parties can still get that continental feel right here in the UK.

According to Bath Tourism Plus, Bath boasts a "vibrant and cosmopolitan atmosphere" to rival that of any top European city.
