A stag night out in Prague might seem like the perfect way to spend the weekend, but one high-profile reveller admits he will feel a tinge of regret as he jets off to the Czech capital.
Former Shrewsbury Town footballer Dave Edwards admits he is "gutted" that his brother's stag do has happened to fall on the same weekend as his hometown club make the trip to Wembley for their League Two playoff final clash against Gillingham.
Despite leaving the club in 2007 to join Wolves, the midfield ace admits he still has a soft spot for the Shrews.
And even if he cannot make it down to Wembley, Edwards admits that his brother's stag night activities are likely to take a backseat when the big game kicks off.
"Chris tells me that there should be sports bars showing the game so we will find one of those and watch it," he insisted.
Despite his disappointment, Edwards can console himself with the knowledge that he will be plying his trade against top-flight stars such as Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard next season after Wolves secured promotion in style last month by winning the Championship title.
