Wolves and Scotland footballer Chris Iwelumo may be spearheading his club's charge for promotion to the Premier League, but the striker had more than one reason to celebrate last weekend.
Iwelumo ended a barren spell in front of goal as he netted for the first time in 16 games on Saturday to help Wolves to victory over Charlton - before heading off to party for a friend's stag night, the Sun reports.
The frontman landed the man of the match award, walking away with a bottle of champagne for his efforts, and the booze was sure to be flowing as he celebrated his pal's impending nuptials.
Iwelumo said: "I'm a best man in the summer and my best mate was down here with 19 other guys."
"I'd been looking forward to the stag do for weeks," he added.
The 31-year-old will be hoping to break out the bubbly again come the end of the season by securing automatic promotion, with Wolves currently sitting three points clear of rivals Birmingham at the top of the table.
