Many a stag party has no doubt kicked off with a day at the races, but few will have started with a trip in Del Boy's Robin Reliant.
Rather than shell out on a luxury limo and travel to the racecourse in style, friends of 34-year-old Michael Kelly opted to treat him to a spin in the Only Fools and Horses character's trademark three-wheeler.
The surprise was arranged by Mr Kelly's brother Neil, who said the vehicle provided "a fitting theme" ahead of the group's trip to Kempton Park, Surrey, for a wager on the horses.
Neil explained: "When I got married he dressed me up as Batman so I had to get my revenge."
"He has always been into Only Fools and Horses."
Neil also donned a full Del Boy costume before getting behind the wheel of the Robin Reliant, but is sure to ditch the getup in time to marry fiance Natalie Rand next month.
Only Fools and Horses spanned seven series in the United Kingdom between 1981 and 1991 and has also returned for several one-off Christmas specials in more recent times.
