Those looking for a stag party that breaks from tradition might wish to consider heading to a theme park.
The UK has a number of thrill-seeking attractions, including Alton Towers, Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Thorpe Park.
According to the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, the sites can be major drivers for tourism.
"Theme and amusement parks to some extent are recession proof. If you look at the 2009 season for theme and amusement parks in Europe, it has not been as bad as many feared," explained the organisation's executive director Andreas Veilstrup Andersen.
His comments follow revelations that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has plans to construct a £135 million Disney-style attraction in the Spanish city.
According to the MailOnline, the site will be based around the football club and will join the 146 existing theme parks in Spain.
Mr Veilstrup Andersen explained the move was likely to bring more tourists to the area.
