It may already be popular with British revellers, but Bulgaria has proved itself to be an ideal stag night destination for those on a budget.
The eastern European nation has emerged as the one of the cheapest places on the continent to visit - ensuring stag parties are treated to plenty of booze for their bucks.
According to the Eurostat survey, Bulgaria is the second least expensive holiday destination - behind Macedonia - and offers the best prices on food and drinks.
Meanwhile, nearby Romania may also be an attractive choice for stag parties on a budget, boasting the lowest taxes on alcohol.
Other countries in the top ten for value included Poland, Lithuania and Slovakia, while Denmark was identified as the most expensive location in Europe.
According to online travel firm On the Beach, stag parties and holidaymakers should not resign themselves to staying in the UK this year, despite the weakness of the pound.
It claimed a short break in Europe could still prove cheaper than one closer to home, with costs for food, drink and daytime activities generally cheaper overseas.
