Stag party enjoys cheeky night out

A bridegroom has spoken of his shock at having the Cheeky Girls turn up at his stag night.

Dean Palfreyman was preparing for his nuptials when he discovered that his best man had signed him up to a TV show featuring the Transylvanian pop stars.

The stag party had gone paintballing when the Cheeky Girls turned up, where they forced him to wear a Captain America outfit and get a full barrage of fire from his mates.

This was swiftly followed by a pub crawl, in which Monica and Gabriela Irimia showed the men a few new drinking games.

Commenting on his stag night, Dean told the Sunday Mercury: "I was gobsmacked when The Cheeky Girls turned up.

"At least we knew who they were - it would have been embarrassing if we hadn't recognised the celebrity."

He added that the girls, who rose to fame on ITV's Popstars: The Rivals, taught him the dance to their hit single The Cheeky Song (Touch My Bum).
