Stag Party Weekend Playlists #6: Richard

I know they've been few and far between recently but Friday usually means a party playlist from someone here at The Stag Company. Today my fellow Marketer Richard has given me a selection of his favourite tunes that he has ever so modestly titled ‘The Best Playlist of All Time… Of ALL Time. A mighty tall claim, so let’s dive right in: Diary – Angels & Airwaves: “An 8 minute epic to start a weekend playlist? Don’t worry - This is the prelude. The calm before the storm. This is the journey to your stag do city of choice. This is god-like”. On Sight – Kanye West: “Speaking of Gods. BOOM. The playlist has started – no more time for a slow build up. All hail Yeezus”. Numbers on the Boards – Pusha T: “On to quite possibly the best song of the year from one of the best albums of the year”. Glory & Gore – Lorde: “Lorde – she’s so bloody good she has ALREADY made the most important playlist of Stag Company history. Her biggest achievement to date, surely”. Molasses – Earl Sweatshirt ft. RZA: “Short, sweet. Earl and RZA rapping about sex and freckles. Perfect”. Jumpin’ Jack Flash – The Rolling Stones: “There’s many times on a stag do one of the group might not be feeling all too well for another round and ANOTHER night out. This classic can turn that around for anyone”. Goooo – TNGHT: “What was I saying about getting in the mood? Well the same goes for this…” Backseat Freestyle – Kendrick Lamar: “And this. Hard to choose one Kendrick Lamar song but I always find myself going back to this one”. Swim Good – Frank Ocean: “Channel Orange is brilliance but if Spotify had Nostalgia: ULTRA this choice would be Songs for Women, Nature Feels or American Wedding… But who can complain about Swim Good anyway?” Can’t Tell Me Nothing – Kanye West: “Rounding things off with my favourite Kanye West song. Didn’t like the playlist? You can’t tell me nothing… YOU CAN’T TELL ME NOTHING”. Richard said his aim was to send listeners on a journey and I think he’s managed to do just that.
