Stag weekends at the Notting Hill Carnival

Those who are planning an alternative type of stag weekend might want to investigate what is planned for this year's Notting Hill Carnival.
It takes place annually over the August bank holiday and could be ideal for groups of guys who want to finish off their sojourn in style.
The location in west London is filled with hundreds of Caribbean food stalls, a million revellers and lots of colourful costumes.
Music, steel drum bands and floats are just some of the things visitors can enjoy.
Prior to the main parade on the Monday, Saturday usually includes competitions and Sunday is Kids' Day.
Notting Hill is easily accessible via the London Underground and is a short trip from other potentially ideal stag night spots such as Mayfair or Chelsea.
Clubs in Mayfair are often frequented by celebrities, so if that sounds like a good addition to a weekend then the likes of Funky Buddha and Mahiki are among the current favourites.
