Quite what went on during Duncan Thomas' stag do remains a mystery, but the groom's Star Wars-inspired wedding certainly ranked among some of the strangest ceremonies in the UK.
Mr Thomas walked down the aisle dressed as space hero Han Solo - with bride Sammi Gardiner taking a starring role as Princess Leia - as a tribute to the classic sci-fi films.
Guests also played their part, with an array of Stormtroopers and Jedis watching on, while Chewbacca also made an appearance as best man.
The ceremony also included specially-created vows based on the couple's favourite scenes and the bride's ring was engraved with the words: "May the 4th be with you."
Commenting on the event, Mr Thomson said: "We had both been married before with traditional services and wanted to do something a bit different and fun to put a smile on everyone's face."
The ceremony may have been unique, but the couple are not the first to enlist the help of Star Wars characters to help make their big day extra special.
Earlier this year, 30-year-old Jessica Robinson hired evil villain Darth Vader to walk her down the aisle as a surprise for husband and Star Wars fanatic Stuart.
