Star's wedding celebrations continue

The credit crunch may be prompting some newlyweds to tone down their wedding celebrations, but one star couple is sparing no expense.

Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie jetted off to Mexico with new husband Josh Duhamel to enjoy a Valentine's day break in the sun - less than a month after spending their honeymoon in the Maldives.

The pair's wedding preparations kicked off with a joint stag and hen night, followed by a ceremony attended by 75 close friends and family at the new Dakota Lounge in Santa Monica.

A source told the People magazine that the couple appeared to be enjoying married life on their latest romantic break.

"Josh and Fergie are enjoying lots of outdoor activities, including sunbathing, snorkelling, visiting the lowland rainforest and several historic Maya sites," the source said.

While the singer's celebrations continue, fellow performer and actress Mandy Moore announced this week that she will be looking to avoid the limelight in the run-up to her wedding day.

The star told LA's Valentine in the morning radio show that she hopes the ceremony will "slip by unnoticed by everyone".
