Wherever they hold their stag night, most revellers are sure to include a trip to the pub in their plans, and a new tourism campaign will aim to target drinkers across the UK.
According to Marketing Magazine, VisitEngland's Inn England promotion will provide holidaymakers with a list of pubs across England that will be searchable according to a range of criteria.
The idea could help stag parties identify the perfect drinking den to suit them and VisitEngland plans to help pubs up and down the country drum up new business and become the focal point of the area.
Amanda Smyth, head of marketing at VisitEngland, said: "Pubs are a key part of England's brand, our history and way of life."
She added that the campaign will help remind people of "the unique place" that pubs hold in the country's history and culture, as well as the important role they play in uniting local communities.
This comes after England's pubs were last month handed the award for "outstanding contribution to tourism" at this year's Enjoy England Awards for Excellence on account of the "integral part" they play in the fabric of British life.
