A US governor has revealed that his recent business trip coincided with his son's Las Vegas stag party.
Texas governor Rick Perry was meeting with a Republican candidate for the role of Nevada governor, but also used the trip to help his son Griffin celebrate his upcoming wedding, the Dallas News revealed.
Despite the fact that it is illegal for US governors to use their campaign funds for personal reasons, Mr Perry allegedly has a track record of mixing business trips with pleasure.
In the past he and his family have visited Israel, Italy and the Bahamas, with the politician conducting some form of work on the trip, the newspaper explained.
While most Brits do not have the luxury of having a famous father to fund their stag weekend, they do have a number of options within the UK.
Aside from traditional favourites like Blackpool and Newcastle, revellers could head to London, Liverpool or Bristol to enjoy an action-packed stag weekend.
