People looking for a top stag night destination that won't break the bank could find a trip to Warsaw provides all the ingredients for a memorable weekend away.
According to the Post Office City Costs Barometer 2009, the Polish capital offers better value than a host of popular stag do destinations including Prague, Tallinn,
Bratislava stag weekends and
Riga stag party.
In fact, the city was identified as the cheapest location for weekend accommodation in eastern Europe, making it ideal for stag parties on a budget.
Furthermore, the report found Warsaw to be among the best-value cities for drinks, meals and airport transfers, meaning revellers are likely to get more booze for their bucks than elsewhere.
Acting director of the Polish National Tourist Office Ewa Binkin said: "Warsaw is a great holiday choice for anyone who is on a budget but doesn't want a budget-style holiday."
Indeed, according to Abta - The Travel Association, cities across central and eastern Europe are likely to offer the best value for UK tourists during 2009.
The organisation revealed that the favourable exchange rates across much of the region mean that beer is widely available for less than a pound a pint.
