Welshman recounts stag party exploits

A Welsh journalist has told the story of how his stag party made him realise that he is definitely ready for marriage.

The nameless South Wales Evening Post writer explained that he intends to have two more stag weekends before his big day, but that the first - a seven-day stint in Las Vegas - had gone well.

Taking place just before Halloween, he delighted in seeing elements from his childhood turn up at Palms Hotel's Mood nightclub.

A smurf, Michael Jackson and a transformer were all present in a week the author explained taught him three things.

He explained the city had many attractions that made him think that his fiancée would enjoy a trip there with him - reaffirming that he was ready for marriage and not, as may once have been the case, simply out to enjoy himself.

Furthermore, he joked that he learned that it is still possible for him to drink for seven days straight and survive, although another lesson was to be found in the inexplicable bruises on his back.

With another two stag parties planned, the Welshman could enjoy a spot of white water rafting, paintball or quad biking if he fancies something different from his big city experience.
